Forty years ago, droves of young women migrated away from urban settings and settled in rural areas across North America. Many settled on the north coast of British Columbia, on Haida Gwaii or around Prince Rupert.
The stories of how 34 of those women got there, and the incredible adventures they experienced after they arrived, are recorded for the first time in the latest book published by Muskeg Press.
